Epicurus
He taught that pleasure and pain are the measures of what is good and evil, that death is the end of the body and the soul and should therefore not be feared, that the gods do not reward or punish humans, that the universe is infinite and eternal, and that events in the world are ultimately based on the motions and interactions of atoms moving in empty space.
Epicurus is a key figure in the development of science and the scientific method because of his insistence that nothing should be believed except that which was tested through direct observation and logical deduction.

New Albums - While U Wait

A new album is released to the world by an artist.
I see the reviews on www.metacritic.com/music.
How smart of them to be able to give a final judgement on an album so quickly.
And these are human beings who are listening to so many albums, just like me.
When a "much-awaited" album comes out I find it very difficult to "judge" (I hate that word) it.
It is requisite for me to allow months to pass, to allow expectation to relax, to allow hype to die down.
It is requisite for me to listen to it on many occasions over time to really realise whether it is one of those albums that I love to listen to.
Hence, I am unable to say what I think of Plastic Beach by Gorillaz just yet.
Thank you for your patience.
All my glove.
Please enjoy the image above while you wait.

100% of HOMOPHOBES are closet homosexuals.
Bored with simple "I am homosexual" coming out scenarios it is just a very creative, dramatic, controversial way that they have decided to out themselves whilst developing a much coveted mystique surrounding the relationship their limbs have with their genitalia.

Rooney Ad
Very sexy.
So now hairy chests on young men are suitable for mainstream advertisements.
Thanks Wayne for forcing them to break that stereotype.
I bet the advertising executives pleaded with him to wax his body hair.
I bet his wife keeps telling him that his hairy body and receding hairline are very sexy.
Well I hope she makes sure he never gets a head hair transplant.
And I hope she makes sure he never shaves or waxes his beautiful body hair.

Life Explained:
(The countries mentioned are irrelevant. There are dickheads in Mexico and wonderful people in USA).
A boat docked in a tiny Mexican village. An American tourist complimented the Mexican fisherman on the quality of
his fish and asked how long it took him to catch them.
"Not very long," answered the Mexican.
"But then, why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?" asked the American.
The Mexican explained that his small catch was sufficient to meet his needs and those of his family.
The American asked, "But what do you do with the rest of your time?"
"I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, and take a siesta with my wife. In the evenings, I go into the
village to see my friends, have a few drinks, play the guitar, and sing a few songs. I have a full life."
The American interrupted, "I have an MBA from Harvard and I can help you! You should start by fishing longer
every day. You can then sell the extra fish you catch. With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat."
"And after that?" asked the Mexican.
"With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one and a third one and so on until
you have an entire fleet of trawlers. Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can then negotiate
directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant. You can then leave this little village
and move to Mexico City, Los Angeles, or even New York City! From there you can direct your huge new enterprise."
"How long would that take?" asked the Mexican.
"Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years," replied the American.
"And after that?"
"Afterwards? Well my friend, that's when it gets really interesting," answered the American, laughing.
"When your business gets really big, you can start buying and selling stocks and make millions!"
"Millions? Really? And after that?" asked the Mexican.
"After that you'll be able to retire, live in a tiny village near the coast, sleep late, play with your children,
catch a few fish, take a siesta with your wife and spend your evenings drinking and enjoying your friends."
And the moral of this story is: ........... Know where you're going in life... you may already be there.
